ACC isn’t as accessible nor forgiving as say, GT, Forza, or even Project Cars, but it’s damn good fun once you’ve gotten a handle on it.As the weekend closes in (hurry up, please), Free Play Days makes its triumphant return, with another trio of games to download and play, but only if you're an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member. The engine, the exhaust note, the straight cut gears banging into place, the sticky ass tires hurling pebbles into the carbon tub, all of it is absolutely spot on. I don’t think I muttered a single damn word the entire time I was playing, mostly due to me focusing so hard to not fuck up my lap, but also due to me being transfixed by the sounds. Even on controller, I think it plays pretty damn well.Īnd the sounds… The sounds are literally the best I’ve heard in any racing game. The car feels as though it would perform and act like this in real life, and was SUPER satisfying to drive at 10/10ths cleanly, and manage to knock a few precious milliseconds or even a second off my previous lap. I think I ended up with like, 20 laps or so? Some were dirty as I was still/am still nailing down the controls, but my God, it’s no exaggeration when people talk about how good the handling model is. A few minutes turned into damn near 2 hours, as I was in the practice mode with the Huracan GT3 Evo, just… Driving. I finally bought it on Steam late last night, and was only planning on giving it a go for a few minutes before my tired ass went to bed. I highly recommend ACC to any racing/car enthusiasts here. I just wish someone made a simulation of the JGTC :(, cars are more interesting and varied than the GT3 class and both GT 300 and 500 race together. You can floor the throttle and the brakes, you won't lose traction after a corner neither lock the brakes when entering one. It should play great on a gamepad thanks to those assists being allowed in those championships, though. My biggest gripe with the game is that without a Direct Drive the force feedback of the game is very neutral and with little information, which is realistic since those cars have ABS and traction control.

It also takes cues from iRacing and has a point system that works even when you're playing solo, and it gives you an score for aspects such as your race pace, how clean you drive and others, so the online is a great experience as well, without rammers for the most part. Its weakness is its main strength as well. And the simulation is just ridiculously detailed due to being a very focused game.

Maxed on PC I'd say it has the best graphic on the market. The quality of the content and the simulation are both outstanding, though.
ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE FORUM SERIES
It only has the tracks and cars of the championships it represents, which are GT3 and 4 series, the British Tourism series (which for all intents and purposes, are the same GT3 cars) and another one. ACC is.light on content, to say it lightly.
